Step 1: Get TikTok & Create ID
The first thing to do is- download the application. Go to the Play Store or App Store, whatever store you have on your phone for downloading an app, go there. Search ‘TikTok’ and install it. It will take a few seconds to download the app. After downloading successfully, open the app. Here, you need to create an account or say TikTok ID to use this app. To create an ID, you need to fill up your information like name, date of birth, and all. Step 2: Filters on TikTok
So, here comes the highlight. To use effects in the app, you need to go to the ‘+’ button in the middle of the bottom panel. After selecting the middle button, the camera will open. You can change the camera on the front or backside. And on the right side of the screen, you will see many options like beauty, speed, flip flash, etc. There you will also get the ‘filters’ option. Select the filter options, and new panels of different filters will open. Browse through them, try them, and apply your favorite filters. After applying the filter, shoot your video and post it. Also, you can even apply a filter after shooting a video. To do so, click on the filter option which appears in the top right corner, choose the filter, and it’s done.
Step 3: Effects on TikTok
To use effects on TikTok, follow the steps. Firstly, go to that ‘+’ tab we saw earlier. After clicking there, the camera will open. And in the bottom panel, where the red button for video recording is there, you will get ‘Effects’ options on the left side. Click on that effects options, and several panels will open. In those panels, you will find all the effects. Please go through them, try them out, and make a video of yourself using your favorite effect. You can even add your favorite effects to ‘Favorites’ so that you can find that effect in favorites anytime.

So, we saw how to use filters and effects in TikTok. Now, let’s see which are the popular ones. But before that, let’s revise what we learned in short. So, for Filter-
