The series follows the daughter of Klaus Mikaelson and Hayley Marshall, Hope Mikaelson. Hope is the descendant of the most powerful vampire, werewolf, and witch bloodline. Legacies tell her story two years after the events of The Originals. Hope now attends the Salvatore School for the Young and Gifted. The school is a haven for supernatural beings who can learn to control their abilities and impulses. In episode 7, we see Hope and Cleo talk about Landon. Hope wants Cleo to help her out in some way. Also, Rick wants Kaleb to take care of the fundraiser. However, the latter is reluctant to do so. Later, we see Lizzie, who almost used her magic during the fundraiser. Next, Kaleb catches leprechauns and is successful in stopping them from making trouble for the school. A mysterious woman arrives and sees Hope’s clay model of Landon and wants to buy it. However, the woman tries to attack Hope when the latter refused to do so. Next, Hope decides to shut down the fundraiser and instead go to the portal. She tries to find out some answers from the leprechauns but couldn’t get anything useful.

Later, Cleo and Hope enter the woods in search of the portal. Meanwhile, Vera, the loan officer, reveals that his daughter doesn’t get along with Lizzie, and he will not grant the loan. After that, the bank guard informs Vera that a leprechaun stole their bank trunk and ate all the money. After seeing the leprechaun, Hope and Cleo chase after it. However, the creature pounces upon Rick. Luckily, Cleo manages to terminate it through a spell and save Rick. Next, we see Jo trying to find another chance with Finch. Also, Rick chances upon old, and Hope worries about Landon. She is always keeping a look-out for him.
