Based on and set in the same world as the 2018 film Love, Simon, the show is created by Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger. Love, Victor made its premiere on June 17, 2020. And it recently released it released season two on June 11, 2021, on its original network, Hulu. Love, Simon was a superhit, and the viewers were excited about how Victor will continue the story. Hence, will Victor take us back to Creekwood for another semester? As for the reception, Love, Victor did wonders for Hulu. It became the most-watched show during the first week of its release. Moreover, it is also the second most binged original on Hulu. So, we can hope to see Victor return with his friends and love life for another season.
Love, Victor Season 3 Release Date
Hulu has not renewed the teen drama for the third season yet. But, it does not mean that we will not see Victor again. Love, Victor is one of the best ongoing drama series on the network, and the response from the audience is overwhelming as well. Hence, we can get to know about Victor’s return in a couple of months. Earlier, Hulu greenlit the show for season 2 in August 2020. So, we can wait until August to hear the happy news. As for the release date, without a renewal, the show will not start production. Once it starts filming, it will be easier to determine the release date. However, considering Love, Victor’s release history, we can easily say that if season 3 happens, it will release in June 2022 (if things go smoothly). The show narrates the story of a new kid, Victor, enrolled in Creekwood High School. It follows the journey of his self-discovery as he manages things at home and in his love life. For help, he reaches out to Simon, who assists him into explore through high school.
Love, Victor Season 3 Plot and Cast
The season two finale was as difficult for us as it was for Victor. Victor had to make a big decision since he had to choose between Benji and Rahim in the season’s final moments. Unfortunately, we have no idea who he picked just yet! Season 3 will open with a blast as the Victor decision bomb will drop on us. On the other hand, it will definitely be interesting to see how Victor will work things out without Simon’s help as he continues his life in Creekwood. Meanwhile, Mia and Andrew went to go find her mom, whereas Felix and Pilar have become the hot new couple in town. Lastly, Lake. Between her and Lucy, things are up in the air. But, again anything can happen in Creekwood. It will be fun to see the kids navigate their lives while also keeping up with each other. We are especially excited to see how Victor will make decisions regarding his love life in the future. And how his decisions will affect the others around him.
So, who all are returning for season 3? All the principal characters are likely to reprise their roles. The cast line-up includes Micahel Cimino (Victor), Rachel Hilson (Mia), Anthony Turpel (Felix), Bebe Wood (Lake), Mason Gooding (Andrew), George Sear (Benji), Isabella Ferreira (Pilar), James Martinez (Armando), Ana Ortiz (Isabel), and Anthony Keyvan (Rahim). Nick Robinson from the original movie, Love, Simon, also appears in the show, but mostly in voiceovers. In the span of two seasons, we have only seen him onscreen twice.
