About The Lover Fest Tour
Lover Fest was a planned concert tour by Taylor Swift for her seventh studio album, Lover. This album came out in the year 2019. The tour was initially set to start on April 5th, 2020. The tour decided to begin in Atlanta, Georgia, and was set to conclude in Foxborough, Massachusetts, on August 1st. But due to the Covid 19 Pandemic, this tour was delayed to 2021. But unfortunately, that too did not happen.
Lover Fest Tour Canceled
Recently Taylor Swift officially announced that she would not be able to do the Lovers Fest tour anymore. The handful of shows in this fest which were set to start in 2020, were delayed to 2021 and now won’t be happening anymore. The fans had already seen this coming due to the Covid pandemic. But still hoped that maybe this tour would take place once everything calms down. Swift posted about the same on her Twitter and Instagram accounts, saying, “I love coming on here to tell you good news, or to share a new project with you. It’s not my favorite thing in the world to have to tell you the news I am sad about. I’m so sorry, but I cannot reschedule the shows that we’ve postponed. Although refunds have been available since we first postponed the Lover Fest shows, many of you hung onto your tickets. I, too, hung onto the idea that we could reschedule. This is an unprecedented pandemic that has changed everyone’s plans, and no one knows what the touring landscape is going to look like in the near future. I’m so disappointed that I won’t be able to see you in person as soon as I wanted to. I miss you terribly and can’t wait till we can all safely be at shows together again”. She has also said that the fans who have booked the tickets for the show will be refunded, and She hopes that she gets to meet them soon. But that doesn’t seem to be happening anytime soon in the near future as there are still no signs of the vaccine being released.
