Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar follows the story of Sandy and Pinky, who are running away from Sandy’s boss. Especially after the scheme, Sandy plotted to loot the bank she is working at and run away from the country. The movie did have its own unique takes on how corporate banks fool innocents. The ending of the film is something to look at since, unlike many commercial dramas. It doesn’t go all well. Did Sandy and Pinky manage to rescue? What happened to Tyagi? Let’s take a look.
Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar Plot Summary
Basically, Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar is a tale of two distinct characters who come together through similar motives. Satyendra “Pinky” Dahiya, played by Arjun Kapoor is a police officer, whereas Sandeep “Sandy” Walia played Parineeti Chopra works in a bank. How they meet is through Sandy’s boss. Sandy waits on a date with the boss before receiving an invitation to another party. Only until Pinky comes off stating the boss has switched location and sent him to escort her. While Sandy observes Pinky, all she is gets is annoyed. First of all because of his driving as well as him informing each and every location to the boss. The roughness leads Sandy to tell Pinky she is pregnant and to drive the car carefully until a group of friends crosses them to fuel Pinky more. What happens next is the police stops the same group of friends and shoots at them after asking the name, which comes out as Pinky. This leads Pinky to drive away the car to somewhere safe along with Sandy. Thus, realizing they were after Sandy and were looking to take him down as well. To take gist, they go to the party Sandy’s friend invited only to acknowledge they are being tracked. So Sandy decides to go to Nepal and asks Pinky to help her. For that, she will give him a million rupees. This follows a rollercoaster ride through the train and Pinky handling the pregnant Sandy. Then staying as paying guests at an Uncle and Aunty’s residence to create fake documents to cross the border. Uncle’s revelations of investing in a scheme of Parivartan Bank where Sandy works leads Sandy to the point. The scheme she created, which may dissolve the bank, is the reason her boss wants to kill her in turn. She manages to get Uncle refunded and tries to get in word with the manager. Meanwhile, the boss Tyagi tracks her down, and the manager tries to sexually exploit her resulting in miscarriage. Pinky arrives to rescue her while also realizing the situation. The question that remained was will they manage to escape to Nepal as Tyagi has tracked them down.
Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar Ending Explained
So, after looking at the condition Sandy, Pinky tries to deal with Tyagi by returning the one million rupees which Sandy offered him. But Tyagi refuses, which leads Sandy to no other option but to surrender. She asks Pinky to leave, so he comes up with a plan to reinvent his look and turn into a woman while Sandy wears a hoodie. Thus explaining the title of the film and names of the characters as a week, Instead of facing off with Tyagi, she goes to another police station to surrender. Facing Tyagi means facing death itself after all that we witnessed initially in the movie. Doing so also led to the arrest of Tyagi as the scheme comes from the same bank. The more important reason Sandy decided to surrender to the cops is that she is tired of fooling hundreds of innocent lives, such as Uncle and Aunty they met initially. The ones she connected on an emotional level. Thus, realizing it’s not worth it. After all the mess, she receives photos from Nepal also realizing Pinky is safe and happy as well to close the film.
