Oh In Beom is a conman played by the handsome Jung Yong Hwa. Jung Yong Hwa is the dreamy leader of the band CNBLUE. Contrary to his pure looks, he frauds people by performing fake exorcisms. Oh In Beom and Hong Ji Ah were fated to meet as they are tied down by a painful past. When the expert, only business, exorcist teams up with the fake cheeky exorcist, chaos ensues. Episode 8 of Sell Your Haunted House was a lot to take in. So, when episodes 9 and 10 came out, fans were beyond excited. Sell Your Haunted House Episode 9 Recap
Episode 8 left Sell Your Haunted House fans at a cliffhanger that led to sleepless nights. Thankfully, a few questions were answered in Episode 9. Hong Ji Ah blamed Oh In Beom for her mother, Hong Mi Jin’s and Song Shik i.e., his uncle’s death. The highlights of this episode are Heo Ji Chul’s blind date, Oh In Beom’s resignation, and the return of Hyung Sik. The episode started off on a high note, with Hong Ji Ah telling Oh In Beom to resign immediately. Added to the tension of the scene were Oh In Beom’s tears. It was painful to see him being blamed for something he did not remember. Later, Oh In Beom’s right-hand man Ji Chul finally meets his blind date. Turns out that the women’s name is Soo Jung and she is troubled by an unrested spirit.
Ji Chul’s Blind Date
This episode of Sell Your Haunted House explored the story of the unrested spirit that haunts Soo Jung. Further, we get to know that the women, now a spirit used to live on the floor above Soo Jung. A stalker had followed Soo Jung into the lift with her and she was unaware. The woman felt something was weird and got into the lift with Soo Jung to protect her. The stalker threatened the woman with a knife to keep her silent, and Soo Jung got off the lift unaware and unharmed. The stalker murdered the woman who tried to help Soo Jung in a blind spot so as not to leave any evidence.
The Interrupted Exorcism
With Oh In Beom gone, Hong Ji Ah’s old psychic Hyung Sik has returned. Although fans missed Oh In Beom dearly it was fun to watch Hyung Sik again. Hong Ji Ah and Hyung Sik enter the basement to exorcise the women’s spirit. The unrested spirit feels that she wrongfully died. The important point is that Detective Kang had dozed off in the basement and witnessed the entire thing. Hong Ji Ah stabs the psychic once the spirit has entered, but Detective Kang thinks that she is trying to stab Hyung Sik and interrupts the exorcism. Hyung Sik, who is now possessed runs off. The stalker somehow enters Soo Jung’s room and tries to hurt her. As Soo Jung tries to run away, she is met with the woman’s spirit in Hyung Sik’s form. But instead of hurting Soo Jung, she heads straight to beat the hell out of the stalker. Hong Ji Ah reaches just in time as the spirit is trying to kill the stalker. She stabs the psychic even though Director Kang threatens to shoot her. The spirit’s memories enter Hong Ji Ah’s body as the detective shoots a bullet.
Chaos At The Police Station
Everyone gets taken to the police station, and Soo Jung identifies the stalker as the man who killed the women in unit 702. Further, Detective Kang is suspicious about Hong Ji Ah. Hong Ji Ah draws a sketch of the knife that was used for the murder. Moreover, the stalker is released as there was no strong evidence that he was involved in the murder. Soo Jung is shocked and even refuses to see her boyfriend Ji Chul. Oh In Beo waits outside Daebak Real Estate and sees Hong Ji Ah in a rush. He immediately identifies that this is the aftermath of her being possessed by the women’s ghost.
Exorcist Turns into Actress
The woman who was murdered was actually an actress. Hong Ji Ah is now possessed with her spirit. She goes to the theatre, and Oh In Beom follows her. Moreover, when Oh In Beom sees Hong Ji Ah looking ethereal in a pink gown, he is stunned.
